About

An artist in many different fields, opened my jewelry business after a torn labrum in my hip in September 2012, which I had surgery for April 2013. The one good thing about my slow recovery is that I have lots of time to work on my jewelry!

As a child, I would draw on everything, and tried to make something out of anything I came across.

One of my grandfathers (the one on my mother's side) was a leather worker by trade, and I still love the smell, as it reminds me of his shop, and helping him when I was little.

My grandmother ( on my father's side) was a seamstress and secretary, and I sure did get in a lot of trouble for cutting up her Battenburg lace to make doll purses!

I also drew so much in school, on homework, tests, and such, that even if I forgot to write my name on the paper, the teachers always knew which one was mine.

I still draw and write, and even paint, but my favorite thing of all these days is jewelry. I love to hammer metal and see it change shape and texture, to string together a mix of gemstones, glass, and crystal and make something unique and fascinating to look at. In the future, I hope to acquire a kiln and make my items even more individual expressions of creativity, as I am always evolving and learning new things in my fields.

I just married the love of my life, Bryan, who is a wonderful supporter of all my hopes and dreams! <3
