I am very proud to be from the creative and culturally diverse city of Melbourne, Australia.
When I was younger I studied art history at university. Then I decided that I was happiest making things, rather than just writing about what other people had already made. These days I work as a freelance illustrator and designer, and I make things the rest of the time.
When I want something new, I prefer the challenge of making it myself. That might mean knitting, sewing, sawing, stirring or painting... and it's a list that I hope never ends. Handmade things are made with thought and care and deserve to be loved for infinitely longer than a cheap mass produced item bought on a whim.
