About

Retired from journalism, then bookselling, I've turned back to a lifelong interest, textiles. Over several years, I've refined a technique similar to papier mache, joining vintage and antique textiles and adornments with small canvases.

My goal is to recycle and preserve old textile pieces, most featuring handwork, through affordable and accessible one-of-a-kind art. Supplies come from the Internet (yeah Etsy!), thrift shops, rummage sales, flea markets, travels, literally the world without borders.

I hope you enjoy owning an Art 4 Decor canvas as much as I did creating it. I welcome commissions.
