I'm originally from Lewes, Delaware and grew up near some great beach towns during the 60's and 70's and soaked up a lot of cool global trends that came along with the arts growth during those years. I'm trying to say I'm still a hippy chick inside and learned a lot from the artisan influence on style during those years.

My love of jewelry design started with my own desire for unique, original jewelry that is earthy, unpretentious, and organic. I love abstract design, and my art background has helped me to create jewelry that has interesting balance and composition.

I'm a firebug. I LOVE playing with fire. In that tiny moment of time where the metal flows into liquid, I'm at peace and the little startle I feel when the smoke detectors go off, is just a reminder...

I love whitewater kayaking, cross-country skiing, catching turtles, and my little log home on Evitts Creek in the mountains of Western Maryland. I often think of the native people who treasured the beaches and woods that I do. I wonder if I share with them the same feelings of awe and respect for the simple treasures of this earth, and I care deeply about preserving that beauty. a
