-->About me & my work<--

One day I said to myself, "I bet I could make that..." and instead of the numerous times (...abstract painting, anything to do with a sewing machine, anything to do with wood & nails...) in the past when I'd said this and found out, well, I really couldn't, this time I was right and I was hooked!

Jewelry making came to me naturally and quickly, leading to a borderline obsession and the resulting loss of sleep. Sooo, at the urging of my ever-supportive and always realistic ("what exactly are you going to *do* with all of these things?") husband, I arrived here at Etsy and have been here ever since.

Things you are unlikely to or rarely will find in my pieces:
-Bicone Swarovski crystals... (honestly, I just can't stand them)
-Bali-style silver beads/spacers/clasps (No matter how much I know it's not, I always
feel like it makes things look cheap.)
-Too many colors at one time
-Rings (as in for your fingers)

Things I love:
-Tonality
-Coordination
-"Fancy" things with jeans; understated things with formalwear
-Wearing a bold piece layered with an understated piece
-Shades of grey
-Shades of white
-Revolving Style
-Mixing metal tones- maybe not within pieces, but definitely within what you're wearing
-Fun vintage touches
-Shoes (okay, this last one doesn't show up in my work, but I still love them, and it's
the other "hobby" I really need to fund)

Disclosure: I have another, personal etsy account that I use when I do my (frequent) *shopping* on this great site. I prefer to keep the two separate and anonymous from each other, so my wonderful friends and family can't be out there tracking what I'm buying (usually for them!) personally. If you're feeling distrustful, just conversation me and I'll be glad to tell you what it is so you can check me out, as the etsy policies require.
