Welcome to the Faceless World.
Each creature represents a type of personality I've witnessed. There are so many amazing, confusing, wonderful, and horrible interactions going on around us every day. Most of them go unnoticed. I'm creating the Faceless World (and the story that will go with it) to help make sense of the beautiful chaos.
I use primarily India ink in my work because it has such bold contrasts, and is very sharp. I used to use charcoal but it smudged EVERYWHERE and couldn't hold the image. I highly recommend trying it out if you want a bold, distinctive image. Each image starts out as a sketch; heavy erased, edited, and poured over. Then I draw in the lines with pen and ink.
