I am a twenty-something, small-town girl who grew up with big dreams and busy hands. I have always been creating and my dad has always called me an artist. I might not have been the best at drawing or painting, but making "things" has been my life forte.
Being a jewelry designer was actually a dream of mine that I didn't take seriously for a very long time (or so it seemed). I didn't even know if I'd be good at it, but always inspired by beautiful jewelry that I would see out and about, and all the designs I had swimming around in my head, I finally decided to do something about it. I started with glass and crystal and lesser metals because they are considerably less costly than gemstones. Some things I made were a success and some not, but it helped me to practice and refine my skills.
