My painting is a relic of the time I have spent with that surface. Painting is one of the only things in the world that calms me, it is a constant space of joy for me. it is my life's work.

My earrings -Fancytrash- are a comment on the possibility to reuse industrial material, in a futuristic way that adorns the bodies. Garbage is part of the landscape, like seashells and tumble-weeds. I enjoy shiny things, fixed with rugged edges, where the light still comes through; this is my favorite connotation of beauty …an unintended beauty, serendipity.

My formal painting training began at The Evergreen State College and continued to the amazing "Gage academy of art" in Seattle Washington, where I am originally from. Now I work from my home, in Denver Colorado,…
