About

Hi, My name is Lisa and I grew up in cold Minnesota. I was the only girl and had older brothers,so of course I had my own bedroom, and EVERYTHING was pink! My mother was happy to finally have a daughter and I was a real girly girl. My mother sewed alot and we had many matching dresses (in those day girls wore only dresses) She made everything from my fathers 3 piece suits with reversable vests to wedding and prom dresses. After graduating high school, I made the move to sunny Arizona, where I have lived now for 25 years. (3 yrs we lived in Las Vegas) I met my wonderful husband here and we have been fortunate enough to have 7 beautiful children, 2 sons and 5 daughters. I can remember making crafts of some sort since I was very young. I used to save my crayon shavings and melt them with an iron between wax paper and cut out designs and give them as Christmas gifts! My great-grandmother, grandmother, and mother were all beautiful seamtresses, and of course, I got my first sewing machine very young. I love doing many kinds of crafts, from scrapbooking, sewing, crosstitch, candle making (one year at Christmas the newspaper did a series on the Butcher,Baker, and the Candlestick maker and I was chosen for the Candlestick maker) soap making, you name it, I've probably tried it. I have converted my master bedroom closet into a craft room, no clothes, only tons of craft items of every sort. I call it my mini JoAnnes Store! So now that my youngest is in school, I FINALLY have time for ME! Good thing Etsy came along. I'm so glad to share some of my handmade items with you, and I hope you find something that takes your eye!
