Hi! I'm Kathy. Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by Farmhouse Vogue Kids.

About Me

I was born and raised in a small town in northeastern Vermont, for which I can somewhat blame my restless, but driven, spirit as a young girl. I attended business school in Boston and upon graduation I desired to live in the land of golden opportunity, Los Angeles. Off we went, my two best friends and I, heading westward in my four-door Dodge Coronet. A thrilling, life-shaping experience was had, for sure. Hi!

All this was so exciting, yes, but I longed for home, my family and Vermont.

Back in my home state, I went on to enjoy working in the ski and tennis industry . I then worked for a top executive and founder Jake Burton at Burton Snowboards.

Then everything changed. I married and had children. I yearned to be an old-fashioned stay-at-home mom. I didn't want to miss a single moment of my life. I at last found my true heart’s calling, simply being a wife and mother, although earning an income was a necessity. Thus, Farmhouse Vogue was born one spring day from our rambling 192-year old farmhouse.

In 2011, a significant portion of my proceeds were donated to support the national Humane Society following the Japan disaster, our local emergency shelter and teen pregnancy center, as well as contributions to our church's youth group to help support a missions trip to Africa.
