About

My name is Jane McGregor and I am an aspiring wind farmer. I don't know how it will happen, but I have faith that it will. Maybe I will become insanely rich and famous for my lilliputian charms and kinetic giraffe earrings and move to Scotland to watch the turbines slowly spin as I crank out ten thousand more itty charms for the world to behold on my artist's retreat/zephyr acres farmstead. How nice would that be?
For right now though, what I aim to do is make a little dough on the side, hopefully enough to pay for my eighth grader to go to France this June to visit her exchange buddy, whom we hosted last summer. I also like the extra $$ to buy crazy handmade things and supplies for my daughters and I. I am originally from the Queen city, Charlotte, NC, and I love to still call it my hometwon.

As for ME, I work as an inventory manager for Ornamentea, Panopolie and Ornamentea.com, and for ornamentea.etsy.com. I am surrounded by creative and intelligent people all day long, and believe me when I tell you that working around beads and paper goods and mixed media ingredients is way more than just fun. It's glorious and capital, entirely capital darling.

“In 1988, Mynx Mormino, the flame-haired wunderkind, found she really preferred making jewelry and selling it on the world wide web. Unfortunately for her the timing just wasn’t right so Mynx moved to Paris, where she performed as a circus horse rider and went by the name Lady MacLoyd. Struggling to earn a living, she also worked as an artist's model. In 1990, she began to win fame as an exotic Oriental-style dancer. Her style and free-willed attitude made her a very popular woman, as did her willingness to perform in exotic clothing, especially clothing embellished with peacock feathers. She posed for provocative photos and mingled in wealthy circles. In her early twenties, Mynx Mormino also made the rounds as a successful courtesan and had relationships with many high-ranking military officers, politicians and others in influential positions in many countries, including France, Russia and Germany. However, even the ties with the influential men couldn’t keep the hands of fate from landing Mynx in prison. On June 3, 2005, Mynx Mormino was arrested in her Paris apartment for illegal possession of some VERY rare peacock feathers. Trying as it was, every situation has its upside, and it was in prison that Mynx again found her passion for making special jewelry and the world wide web provided Etsy.
