I've been artistic in nature as far back as I can remember. Quick story... I was about ten years old when I entered a poster drawing contest at the local McDonalds. I didn't win, but they displayed my entry and I got to meet Ronald McDonald! I sang the Big Mac Song for him and he gave me a coupon for a free meal. I was the happiest kid ever, thanks to my art! Anyway... I started painting in my early 20's and I've been at it for almost 25 years. I couldn't afford art classes, so I became my own teacher. I would use each painting as a lesson by challenging myself with different techniques. I've never been afraid of exploring uncharted territory. During the first several years, my works were dark and sinister. I was a young man trying to find myself, I guess. As the years passed, my subject matter has matured greatly.
