Femke Boschker's Profile

About

I’m a Dutch jewelry designer and goldsmith. I studied to become a goldsmith at the Vakschool in Schoonhoven (“silver city”) in the Netherlands. After several years working as a goldsmith, I continued to develop and increase my expressive capacity. I later studied and received my bachelors degree as educator visual arts and design at the School of the Arts in Utrecht.

After several years working as a goldsmith, I continued to develop and increase my expressive capacity. Over the years, I have created several series each with it’s own inspiration sources: e.g. medieval motifs, re-use of old jewelry and materials, construction as a decorative element and old industrial buildings.
Despite the diversity, there is a clear style and charm to discover in the series I have created.
