Welcome to Fern and Flora's fantastical world of jewelry, where vines become dainty earrings and blossoms drop from bracelets.
Flora finds inspiration in the unique forms of flowers and succulents, while Fern prefers to spend her time gazing at curling fern fronds and cascades of colorful petals. We both love to spend hours in the studio transforming our botanical sketches into spirited modern jewelry. We hope you enjoy looking through our shop as much as we enjoy creating it.

Fern and Flora love to design and create fine handcrafted jewelry. Our simple and elegant designs are influenced by the diverse motifs found everywhere in nature. We love the winged seeds that fall from maple trees, the curlicue spiral growth of the maiden-hair fern, and the scrolling tendrils of pumpkin stems. We love the winged seeds that fall from maple trees, the curlicue spiral growth of the maiden-hair fern, and the scrolling tendrils of pumpkin stems. We find inspiration everywhere everyday – in moss-covered sidewalks, in a rusting iron gate, even in a frost covered window. We then spend hours in our studio transforming our botanical sketches into spirited modern jewelry.

Fern grew up as an imaginative child in coastal Maine, living in fanciful worlds of sandy ocean shores and moss-covered mountains. She walked the shores and collected bits of ocean tumbled bricks and textured shells as the cold sand squished between her toes. As she grew into a young woman she discovered a passion for jewelry when she snuck into a continuing education class and created her first pendant. Fern began honing her skills, eventually graduating legitimately from Maine College of Art. Fern was more recently tempted into the California life by the promise of warmer winters and a new shore’s surprises.

Flora grew up on a small farm in Shenandoah Valley, pulling weeds from her Grandma's rock gardens, stringing beans by the bushel, and catching fireflies in jars that she would watch glow all night long. She spent her school days mostly daydreaming and sketching fantastical miniature creatures that lived secretly among her favorite flowers. Growing up was hard for Flora. She tried to get serious, and got a degree in Sociology from UNM. But, alas, her imagination got the best of her once again when she met Fern who introduced her to jewelry-making. Now Flora spends her days sketching flowers once again.
