Gina Moran's Profile

About

I was drawn to the arts at an early age but was always frustrated by my lack of ability with traditional medium (i.e. pencil, paint, pastel). After ten years in human services a life event changed my perspective on the importance of truly loving your work. This paradigm shift lead me to two days of instruction on stained glass jewelry. It was spring 2002 in the stained glass studio at the Arts Center of the Capital Region that I knew I had found my calling. Time, practice, inspiration and further training has brought me from stained glass jewelry to sun catchers then panels and now to sculpture.
