About

I breathe new life into discarded bits of metal and wood that have outlived their usefulness in their original form. I find old wood on the Atlantic shoreline, lakes and river banks in the Southeast along with houses and barns being demolished. Rusted out metal barrels, discarded appliances, beat up bicycles and old car parts are some of my metal sources along with the remnants of ancient farming equipment abandoned on my property almost a century ago.

I have no formal art training and simply create things that make me and others smile. Through galleries and Etsy, my art has been sold to folks all over North America, from Maine to California and Florida to British Columbia.

My website, www.swimminwitdafishes.com, displays many of my creations past and present.
