About

My husband has spent the last 22 years of his life in the USAF serving our wonderful country and has recently decided that he is ready to retire. We are now living in Savannah Texas, north of Dallas, and we really enjoy it here. We lived in Japan for the past 31/2 years and loved every minute of it. We spent a lot of our time on the go searching for the next cool and exciting place every chance we got. I have been married to my best friend for the past six years and have five beautiful kiddos. The kids range from 20 to 14 and then there is the 6 year old.

I am a nurse by trade, but after the birth of our last baby, I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and I am unable to keep up the pace that is needed to be able to do that job. Also, the move to Japan has kept me from getting a nursing job at our base facilities. So, I stay home with the little one and have picked up on crocheting and sewing. My newest delight is Japanese felt characters. I have been inspired by all the Japanese crafts that I have seen. The Japanese take so much pride in their work and are so beautiful. I started shopping at the Book Off's and have well over 50 Japanese craft and sewing magazines. They are so yummy and wonderful. I am in the process of getting some things made so I can put them up for sale.
