I design, hand-paint and make unique covered notebooks, bags, scarves and cushions.

Soft, subtle washes of color mixed with rich deep pigments are painted onto velvet or silk organza. The colors are fixed by steaming. The books are then covered with the velvet and finished with a contrasting painted organza trim then fastened with a thin velvet ribbon.

These are great for diaries, sketchbooks, thoughts, inspiration, secrets e.t.c. Perfect as presents for parents, grand-parents, baby-sitters, teachers, co-workers, bosses e.t.c.
Great for Christmas, birthdays, anniversaries or graduation presents.

The bags are made of linen, leather and strips of carefully placed painted organza are stitched onto the linen. They are lined in blue cotton fabric.

They have an antique vintage quality and hopefully something you would want to
treasure.

I can also receive commissions for customized cushions/pillows and notebook covers/guestbooks. You will be able to choose from a special color chart.
