Eleanor Flower's Profile

About

I've loved making things since I was little when my mum first introduced me to her sewing machine. Since then I have taught myself knitting, crochet, counted cross stitch, embroidery and kumihimo.

In 2012 I decided to put some of my skills to a different use - millinery. I enrolled in short course at my local FE college, which I rapidly swapped to a longer qualification course. I found I loved designing and making hats so much that I wanted to try to turn this passion into a home business.

I also enjoy working with my clients to design and make them exactly the hat they want. One of the main reasons people buy bespoke hats is they can't find what they want in the shops. I love picking over possibilities of design and material to match an outfit perfectly.
