About

I always liked doing crafts since I was a child. All kinds of crafts, from paper mache, origami, glass painting, candle making, making jewelry to making miniatures. I've probably attempted most types of crafts at least once. The problem was, I didn't have the time to do all of these crafts separately. Then came the beads. I immediately got hooked when I saw the possibilities, all the colors and the sparkles that lined the store wall. I bought a couple of books, learned a few techniques and started sketching what I wanted to create. However, my friends' birthdays couldn't keep up with my creating. Soon I had a pile of my beaded creations stored away with no one to share them with. Then came e-bay, a very special friend and Forbeadin' Treasures was born.

Today, my beaded greeting cards are sold in fine gift stores in Canada and in the US. Each card is beaded and handmade by me. When I'm not taking care of my 18 month old daughter, I'm busy beading and cutting cardstock.

And now Etsy....my new addiction

Now I have to find new homes for all the craft supplies that I've neglected for so long so they can be used Also, I have tons of embellishments that I've bought to try and incorporate into my card line, but it just didn't quite work out the way I imagined.

I'm looking foward to sharing my creations with you!
