The threads: Greetings! I'm the one and only behind Fox of the Grotto (Amanda Helmsing), and what is featured here is a part of my "Crestfallen" line I've been developing for two years. My inspiration is driven by antiquities and Edwardian fashions. I mix things up with a modern twist so everything feels old, yet somewhat new. You will find dolly dresses, corsets and bustiers, skirts, tunics, and sometimes jeans! My pieces are one of a kind; if you order an item that has been previously sold, I will have to change it up a bit to ensure each is an original piece. I use my own patterns and alter vintage patterns. My favorite materials include knits, lace, and embroidery threads. Each piece is designed, sewn, modeled/photographed, and mailed out by me. Everyone gets a special note from myself and your garment is sent in very unique packaging. You WILL NOT be disappointed!

Me: I am 25 years old, I reside in the Midwest (of the United States), and I love to share what I create. I studied fashion for 4 years in Bloomington, Indiana at Indiana University and I have been sewing for over 8 years. I currently work as a seamstress doing work ranging from simple alterations and formals, to creating custom garments for customers. When I'm not in the shop, I'm making things for you here on etsy!

Custom Orders:
I am always happy to take custom orders; we can talk via email (foxofthegrottoshop@gmail.com), skype, or through the telefone (just contact me first through email if you would like to discuss orders in person).

Guarantee: All of my garments are professionally made; serged, topstitched, you name it, it's done. I'm a bit of a perfectionist and I won't sell something that isn't made right. If you are not 100% happy with your garment, your money will be refunded.

I want to thank you greatly for supporting independent designers; without you we would not be able to do what we love and share it with the rest of the world.
