Fragile Industries started with a hammer. My great-grandfather, George Washington Hammers, was a blacksmith and iron artist. The women of my family are artists and creators. After the expected path, I established my freedom with a hammer in 2004 and haven't stopped yet.
I live on the left edge of the North American continent and am blessed. I am a poet, a book artist, and a lover of things shiny. I follow a first-century rabbi, the Dali Lama, and John Waters.
I love making jewelry that has a story to it ... the story of the colors and shapes of the assembled parts, and the different histories of each, combined to be a new story, and part of your story. No two pieces are exactly alike.
