About

My passion for jewelry design began as a young girl and has developed over many years of design experience in architecture. Designs are inspired by the built environment, nature, and indigenous art.

I use cherry and walnut woods that I either etch or cut out depending upon the species. I use spray paint for the intense colors. Every item is hand sanded and finished with polyurethane to protect the wood and the paint. I make every item sold in this shop personally except when things get really hectic, then my mom will join me for a girls night of jewelry making. My husband also collaborates on design ideas and will help assemble the cards and price items.

Many laser cut wood jewelry is not finished, but as a woman who wears jewelry in the rainy northwest, I know how important it is to protect them from the environment, make-up and our own skin. Plus, I want everything that you buy from my shop to be an active part of your wardrobe for as long as possible. So you can rest assured that each object has been made to last! :)

Even though the images are the same, no two earrings are alike due to the natural variations in the wood grain. Some even have beautiful knots that add to the uniqueness of each item. If you prefer to have an earring with the knot, please let me know, otherwise I do not include any in the etsy sales.

If you have your own idea for a custom order please convo me. I have made MANY custom products of relatives, pets, cd covers, company logos and much more! It's one of my specialties, and I love it!
