Kathy Owen's Profile

About

My mother taught me everything I know about crocheting, knitting, embroidery, and sewing. At age 5, I was embroidering flower sack dish towels as Christmas gifts.

Her patience was tested repeatedly over the years, especially when she started teaching me to crochet. If whatever I created was not up to standards I would be starting over.

She spent lot of time crocheting a different afghan for each of her 15 grandchildren. Sadly she passed away in 2006. My store is a tribute to her and a thank you for everything she taught me.
