EVERYTHING YOU WANTED TO KNOW & MORE!
I am a wife, mother, grandmother, artist, decorator, crafter, scrapbooker, and creator of beautiful, FUNKY, one-of-a-kind clothing with ATTITUDE! I love to recreate wearable pieces from upscale and gently loved garments and give them my personal funky edge. THESE CREATIONS ARE NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART.
I have been interested in design and sewing since I can remember (and that is quiet a while). I started with sewing my own doll clothes at a very early age, and continued designing and sewing special garments for my two wonderful daughters as they grew. This included their gorgeous and spectacular wedding dresses. Nothing off the rack for them. I think these two dresses were my most rewarding accomplishments as I watched them walk down the aisle wearing something only I could have made and given them for their special day.
I love gorgeous fabrics, and fibers with a passion. (What an addiction!) When I see a beautiful garment at thrift stores I can't wait to redeisgn it into a whole new creation for some savy sister to enjoy. I want my clothing to express the lighter side of life-------heck with the usual off the rack stuff------- be an individual and show your Funk!
Life is a gift and too short not to enjoy!
