About

We (my daughter Bethany and I) opened up our Etsy Shop October 2011 and have thoroughly enjoyed it! We've made a lot of wonderful new friends since then! Bethany has since graduated College and is now a Teacher, so the shop is mostly me now.
During 2012 I made a lot of changes to my life. I closed down my Bead Shop of 9 years - it was a very tough decision as I really loved doing it. I miss my customers and all the classes I used to teach, however I still feel it was the correct decision to make. I've also downsized homes to a more manageable (financially and physically) townhouse. I still have plenty of room for my Etsy Shop and also my Work Lab/Shop! :) (And also the Fur Babies!! Can't forget them!) I've made these changes partly because of Economic Issues here in our area, but mostly because of my Husbands failing health. (You can read more on that under the Alzheimer's Jewelry Collection in "Deb's Jewelry".)…

During 2012 I made a lot of changes to my life. I closed down my Bead Shop of 9 years - it was a very tough decision as I really loved doing it. I miss my customers and all the classes I used to teach, however I still feel it was the correct decision to make. (You can read more on that under the Alzheimer's Jewelry Collection in "Deb's Jewelry".) And having a more flexible work schedule (by selling on Etsy) allows me more time to spend with Chris, the kids, my volunteer work with the Alzheimer's Association, and working on my Book. I've been a Jewelry Designer for over 25 years and still enjoy doing it. I've sold at 2 different Galleries, numerous Shows and Gala's, at my Bead Shop, and now on Etsy! I enjoy making lampwork glass beads, dichro fused glass and I LOVE-LOVE metalworking! I also enjoy the challenge of creating something new from something old.
I'm looking forward to all the new friends and experiences I will have in the future with Etsy! My biggest dream is to someday travel the world and get to meet all my new friends! In fact that has been my motto for the last several years, getting me through the rough patches with Chris and his disease:
"DARE TO DREAM"
