futurowoman's Profile

About

My name is Nancy L. Stockdale...welcome to my Etsy shop! With my photographs, I aim to capture beauty that often goes unnoticed in the world, and am particularly fond of using Polaroids, toy, and vintage cameras as a way to impart a sense of wonder and historical perspective to my subjects. I hope that you will enjoy browsing through my images and will appreciate the subtle nature of common scenes and objects in our world each and every day!

I am a prolific photographer, and my Etsy shop only gives a glimpse of my overall portfolio. You may also choose photos from my Flickr gallery below for prints--just email me at futurowoman @ gmail.com or use Etsy's conversation system with your request, and I can create a listing just for you!

FAQ:
******
Q: How are your photos printed?
A: All images are printed on professional photo paper (archival quality) by a professional lab. Photos shot with negative or slide film are printed from those negatives. Digital photos and Polaroid prints are printed from uncompressed minimum 600dpi PNG files. All of my prints are printed on either Fuji Crystal Archive Paper or Kodak Endura paper (depending on the finish). These papers are archival and will last beyond a lifetime! I can provide prints to you in matte, glossy, and metallic finishes.

Q: I saw one of your photos that already sold that I'd really like to buy, and I'd also like a different size and finish. May I make a special request?
A: Yes!!! Please email me at futurowoman @ gmail.com, or click "contact futurowoman" on the bar to the right and contact me using the Etsy conversation system. We can make a special listing just for you!

Q: How are your photos packaged for shipping?
A: I package all of my photos in an acid-free, archival, polyurethane sleeve, and then place the sleeve between two pieces of rigid cardstock. I then place the cardstock/photo into a rigid photo mailer, which is clearly marked "DO NOT BEND" on the front and the back.

Q: How quickly do you ship after payment?
A: I keep many of my prints on-hand; when your print is on-hand, I usually ship the next business day after payment. If I do need to order the print from my printer, I ship within five business days of your payment/immediately upon receipt from my printer.

Q: What methods of payment do you accept, and what methods of shipping do you use?
A: I accept Paypal (preferred) from all Etsy buyers. I ship using the US Postal Service, and shipping speeds are listed in item descriptions, but most items ship Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation (for the USA) and via Air Mail for orders Everywhere Else! PLEASE NOTE: I ship to your Paypal address, unless you specify otherwise. If you need your photo faster than Priority Mail or regular Air Mail can deliver, please let me know. We can upgrade the shipping (for the extra costs, as applicable).

Q: I'm buying a gift for someone else; will you ship directly to her/him?
A: Yes! Please give me all of the information when you buy, so that I'm sure to get this gift off to the right address.
