I wasn't actually born with a pair of knitting needles in my hands, but I have certainly been surrounded by yarn for as long as I can remember. As a toddler I spent many an hour in the wool shop of my Mum's employer, and knitted a somewhat 'irregular' scarf for my teddy at just four years of age. Needless to say such early exposure has imprinted my very being with what can only be described as a primal need to 'do stuff' with yarn and fibres.
Over the years I have experienced a multitude of various creative arts & crafts including sewing, hand & machine embroidery, papercrafts, beading, felt making, and more latterly printmaking. However yarn, threads & fibres remain at the heart of my work and are, I believe, as necessary as breathing.
I enjoy creating my own designs with felt, fabric and fibres to make textile jewellery, accessories, and artworks. As…
