Artist's Statement
For me painting is enjoying the beauty that i see in my brain and eyes and leaving that moment in time for the rest of the world to see. I fully realize that we are here for a blink of the eye in history of time. I just want to say i was here after i am gone.Biography
I was raised in the bayou country of Lafourch Parish in Louisiana. Worked in the oil fields of Louisiana and the Gulf Coast for years. I enroled in art school while working off shore and studied the course on my days off. I then went to work in ship yards of South Louisiana where i became a marine construction fitter and did photgraphy on the side. I sharpened my eye for detail in the ship yards. I was always thrilled at launch time. Watching the huge steel ships gaining life as they meet the water. I have learned watercolors,pastels,oils and leather work in the 30 years i have been in art.

Please take the time to enjoy and I hope I can bring some of the beauty of Louisiana and the rest of the country through my brush to my canvas and then to your eyes. I hope you enjoy my work as much as I enjoy doing it. One of my paintings BOILING MUD BUGS apeared on EMERIL LIVE on Sunday 8/20/06 and repeated on Saturday 8/26/06 @ 8pm Eastern Standard Time. The title of the program will be EMERIL LIVE: REBUILDING NEW ORLEANS ONE MEAL AT A TIME.
I have work hanging in our Parish (County) court house in Jefferson Parish.
My originals are all over the country including Alaska, and Europe
My prints are sold around the worlk.
