Gemma Villani's Profile

About

It's great to be here on ETSY with so many creative people from all over the world.

The Profile Picture is of my beautiful Mother on the day she graduated from Nursing School at St. John's in Brooklyn, NY. That was back in 1942 when she was 21 years old. Today she is 93 and is just as beautiful and alert as she was 72 years alo. I am blessed to have her with me and I cherish every moment with her.

I have also been blessed with a wonderful husband, children, siblings, caring relatives far and near, some satisfying jobs, and the privilege to be able to travel around the world.

Vintage Jewelry and high end costume jewelry have captured my interest over the past several years.

When my parents retired from their professional careers they started a secondhand jewelry business. They collected many fine and unique pieces from estate sales, jewelers, antique stores and swap meets.

Their collection has been passed down to me and I am very proud to be able to present them to you.

In addition to their collection, I volunteer at a local thrift store call "HOPE HELPS THRIFT, where my job is to research and sell the donated jewelry. The Vintage Jewelry in my shop that is from the thrift store will be noted as such and 100% of the proceeds will be given to the "Hope Foundation" for those living below the poverty line and the homeless of Central Florida." ( The Parent Organization of the "Hope Helps Thrift Store.")
