I cut my first gem stone cab while based in Thailand in 1968.I began more or less specializing in fire agate 6,or 7 years ago. I have wire wrapped some of my stones for a number of years. However having had these large shaky hands from childhood I just spend more time, and effort than others, but maybe with more satisfaction on the completion of these aesthetically pleasing items.
As a gem cutting grandpa I get to find beauty in the depths of a rough rock, or in my grand daughter's drawing. Either way I am blessed, and hope to be a blessing to those whose path I cross. I am a man of faith,…
