About

I love the way paints move on silk and the effects that come out of it. Unpredictable and challenging are the attributes I love when painting or dying silk! I was introduced to silk painting while living in Germany. I never stop experimenting with this wonderful medium and keep inspired by the never ending possibilities this fascinating and versatile medium brings to the table. I also incorporate and use found treasures to embellish my designs. Hundertwasser and Dali are my favorite artists. I am easily inspired by the wonderful world around me and the great imagination of my two amazing daughters. My husband is my toughest critic; however he loves to wear my hand painted ties and to this day, thanks to his travels, I maintain a great international clientele. When not at work or painting silk, I enjoy family time, reading, listening to music, dancing, hiking, fishing, exercising and spending time with friends.
