I grew up crafting, with glitter and glue guns, beads, string, and paint. Creative process and thinking were always something encouraged in my home, and it lead me to a degree in fine art from the University of Washington.

Since graduating, I have spent most of my time working in the home decorating sector - as an interior designer, and in retail for textiles. And while it has allowed for some creativity, my need for tangible creation- the satisfaction of the tactile, putting paint on canvas or beads on wire- drove me to jewelry creation.

My pieces are modern and feminine, while often bordering on minimalism, influenced by my work in interior design, and a love of mid-century modern furniture and craftsmanship.
