I am a 43 yr. old chick of many trades. I am passionate about a few things in this world and one of them is underground music. Most everything I do is heavily influenced by the music that I love and grew up listening to. With that being said, fashion, home decor and accessories that are available for the masses at the mall were not appealing to me even as a teen. I would be inspired by something and go home and make it, using safety pins and whatever I could cut up. I learned how to make a man's rock n roll t-shirt fit and look more feminine. Later I worked at the only local punk clothing store and I could not afford the items that I sold so I continued to make my own. I actually liked them better. Into my adulthood, I am still restyling items from secondhand stores and making them less ordinary.
.I use Vintage fabric and used textiles since 5% of all waste in landfills consists of textiles. I personally enjoy creating my items with materials that have a history and I love giving them a new life.
