Creating wearable art is an intensely personal event for me. The journey to where I am and what I create now has encompassed many different media and disciplines over the past 20 years – but always involving jewelry. About

Creating wearable art is an intensely personal event for me. The journey to where I am and what I create now has encompassed many different media and disciplines over the past 20 years – but always involving jewelry. I have an affinity for bright pops of color, I love the glow of glass and the shimmer and sheen of silver and gold that has been worked and burnished by hand - I enjoy bringing these qualities together into my current body of work. My studio is where I create limited quantities of finely crafted jewelry that are honest, intimate and heartfelt, many being custom enamel pet portraits.

There is a subtle beauty and quiet allure to anything handcrafted. I like to think that my work speaks to people in a quiet whisper or a joyful shout. It completely depends on who the audience might be. The one thing that remains constant no matter what I am working on is the technical skill that is required to create each and every item and a strong design aesthetic that guides my process from start to finsh. These two properties converge and imbue my pieces with a sense of being: quiet yet compelling, subtle yet familiar, always very special, always completely personal. I strive to make jewelry that calls to people, wears well and becomes more personal, more interesting and more cherished the longer they are owned, handled, worn and loved.
