I have always loved art, especially drawing and painting. I received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from San Diego State University, however I ended up with a career in drafting.

In 2006 I discovered the wonderful world of glass when I took my first class in beadmaking followed by classes in sculpture, pendants, etc from William Hagy at The Eld Hus.

I became disabled in 2008 and could no longer work. Now that I have more time on my hands, I do watercolor painting in addition to my glass art.

As of late I have also been making beaded bracelets with size 8 and size 10 seed beads using the peyote stitch. I create my own bracelet designs and like to use buttons for the clasps, preferably vintage glass buttons. They make such beautiful and interesting clasps…
