About

It's hard for me to even comprehend that so much time has gone by so quickly, but I have more than 37 years of stained glass experience. I can still vividly remember my first stained glass project. That first project consisted of me assembling a pre-cut stained glass lamp kit on the floor of my dorm room while a student at West Virginia University. This long journey and love affair with stained glass has led to me designing my own unique stained glass pieces that range from small gift items to large custom designed projects. I take pride in unhurriedly producing works one at a time in my home-based studio. I especially am proud of knowing that many of my pieces are much cherrished and destined to live on for many years as family heirlooms. In addition to operating my own home-based studio, I have worked for a well-known studio that specialized in the removal, repair and restoration of large leaded windows in churches, public buildings,…

In addition to operating my own home-based studio, I have worked for a well-known studio that specialized in the removal, repair and restoration of large leaded windows in churches, public buildings, and private homes. I have exhibited my work at a number of juried art shows throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions; including being selected to participate in the the National Audubon Society Art Show in Washington, DC. My favorite shows to attend are the smaller local shows where I have the opportunity to catch up with friends and former clients. I served as the stained glass instructor for the Yorktowne Chapter of the Pennsylvania Guild of Craftsman. Besides Pennsylvania, I have lived in the coastal region of Virginia and North Carolina, as well as the upstate area of South Carolina. I now live in beautiful St. Augustine, FL. This has all resulted in a wide range of subjects for my art; which also ranges from abstract to Victorian and traditional styles. All of my pieces are signed (initialed) and dated.I do accept commissioned custom orders. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions about my work, or would just like to talk about stained glass in general.....thanks for visiting, Kevin
