I am a professional graphic designer, but enjoy creating studio art and crafts in my free time. My interests range from making collages out of Japanese and other handmade papers, to pottery, sewing, sashiko, and card making. This shop will probably contain an eclectic range of items as my interests are constantly shifting and evolving.

I have a strong interest in traditional Japanese crafts, and one can probably see an Asian influence in much of my work. I studied abroad in Japan in the spring of 2003 and that experience left a lasting impact on my personal art style. I feel I found myself as an artist there, and since then I have been signing my work with my name in Japanese katakana. I also draw a lot of inspiration from nature. Birds and trees are among my favorite subjects to create.
