Lomah Acres' Profile

About

We are a large family working together to create naturally wholesome products. Lomah Acres is our little ‘Land of Milk and Honey’ where we raise honey bees and a small herd of dairy goats. Goat milk soap is just one of the farm products that we produce and sell.

We make our soaps from scratch starting with our own fresh goat milk. We then follow the cold process method of soap making using a special blend of oils including olive oil along with nutrient rich shea butter and coconut oil to create a wonderful bar of soap. Each oil used adds its own unique quality to the soap. We scent our soaps with the best quality fragrance and/or essential oils. Some soaps have color added by the use of natural clays, mineral micas, botanical infusions or homegrown herbs.

After carefully combining all the ingredients our soap is poured into our own handmade wooden molds. Over the next few days it is unmolded and then cut by hand. Soaps are then left on the curing shelves for 4-6 weeks. The result is a non-drying soap that will clean your skin without stripping it of its oils. It will have a creamy bubbly lather that feels like silk on your skin. The scent of our soaps will linger lightly on your skin and will fill the room they are used in.

Since everything is done by hand there will be variations in size, shape, and color of the bars. They will weigh a minimum of 4.75 ounces with some weighing over 5 ounces. We are currently testing changes in the dimensions to produce a thicker bar but the weights will remain the same. Some soaps are wrapped with decorative papers and some are shrink wrapped in plastic. We also do custom packaging on request.

We are always testing new ideas and striving to make our soap the best it can be. We hope you will try some today!
