About

Each of my Goddesses & Witches are completely made from scratch :).

I began making Goddesses when my daughter was just a baby. I made one for myself, for sanity & strength. People approached me about her all the time, and eventually I began making them for friends, with spedific "missions". Now they find their wearer, the match is always perfect! If you see one you love, get her. I can never replicate a Goddess.

THE WITCHES :)
Well, they came back into my life with a bang. I made one about 25 years ago for my mother, my oma, and my nana, as a gift. Last year, my mom asked me to make her another one for her friend, since she really loves the one hanging in my moms' kitchen :). It always makes her laugh.....That was the beginning of a tribe of Witches, and each one comes out as she wishes. I love them! They make me laugh, they…

They make me laugh, they are michievious, and each one has her own personality. They bring good magick into the kitchen, and are a pleasure to share a space with. The materials used are mostly repurposed. I love estate sales and the history that come with the things I buy. Vintage fabrics, loved spoons, little pieces jewelry & trinkets, etc...I always add a note about special pieces, be on the lookout :).

A LITTLE NOTE ABOUT MY PACKAGING: We all love fancy packaging, but I opt to recycle all those great tissue papers and tulles my kids schlepp in from their birthdays or various other events. I will even reuse the bubble envelope, if I can rescue it :). So please be assured that your Goddess was packaged with love and happy thoughts, and good intentions for Mother Earth.

WHAT DO HAPPENS WHEN YOU FIND YOUR GODDESS?
"My Goddess makes me smile fondly whenever I catch a glimpse of her in the mirror. She is a constantly comforting weight at the top of my cleavage, her beautiful round curves a perfect reflection of all that is wholesome and good. The stones in her necklace are stunning, bright, vibrant and abundant. My favourite bit of all of her wonderfulness is the dragonfly on her belly, a talisman of all that is positive and beautiful."

"My Goddesses hangs at the entrance to my home, she watches over the place and welcomes everyone in. Her grace and beauty remind me that I am a woman, that I am a creator of life, and I must celebrate that every day. I am a witch and my Goddess is my confidant. She whispers to me to be good and kind and harm none, for she is peace and she respects the earth. My Goddess makes me smile because she symbolizes the essence of life and love. And she makes my home complete. Thank you Goddess In The Groove, you do beautiful work."

I am a mystery fan, and read several books at once :). Did I mention I don't sleep enough? My night hours are my peace/creative hours, and then the morning reality comes anyways! I love coffee, LOL.
