Hello All!

I never really know what to write about myself in these profile spaces as I feel that I’m a pretty typical person. But, in an effort to introduce myself, here’s a little bit about me…

I’m a full time college student pursuing my BSN degree (Bachelors in Science of Nursing). I returned after more than a decade away from school and I’ve yet to regret the decision to go back. My goal is to one day (soon) work with chronically and terminally ill children and adolescents. I’m a full time college student pursuing my BSN degree (Bachelors in Science of Nursing). I returned after more than a decade away from school and I’ve yet to regret the decision to go back. My goal is to one day (soon) work with chronically and terminally ill children and adolescents. It’s a passion that has been deeply engrained within me as my own brother lived for (almost) 23 years with Cystic Fibrosis.

In addition to being a nursing student, I am also a mother to a second grade boy and an avid collector of all things vintage and cute. My taste changes a lot, but I always enjoy a good estate sale or stop at an antique shop. I currently have two etsy stores which I run with my mom:

www.gotpatterns.etsy.com

&

www.cabinon6th.etsy.com

Why patterns you might ask? I seem to have a weakness for them. I love the art on the front and the fun vintage styles. I do own a sewing machine, but alas, I have no idea how to follow a pattern, so I continue to collect the patters and simply love them for their appearance. I have way too many patterns here, so I figure why not put ‘em on etsy and pass them along to others who might like them as much as I do. Maybe even pass them on to someone who can sew with them! It will allow me to continue hunting them down and circulating my collection… the best of both worlds I think 

Enjoy my shops!
