Hey Y'all, Come on in! (Yes, I would say that if you came to my door...I live in Tennessee!) We do really talk that way! LOL. I live in the country with my 80 year old mother, who is the light of my life. We have 6 dogs (at the moment), 2 horses, 4 cats. and a couple of chickens. If you ever drive thru east Tenn., and see some loon on the side of the road, trying to coax a stray animal out of the road, that will probably be me! I am a fanatic for animals of all kinds, and take in as many as I can. I cannot stand to see them scared, hungry, and abused. I have been shopping and collecting vintage and antiques ever since I can remember, thanks to my mom. She goes everywhere I go, and we have great fun together discussing their history. She loves old dishes, as do I, but clothing is my true love. We never had a lot of money, and it was natural to shop second hand. Now that I am older, it makes even more sense! I was a clothing buyer for many years, and miss all the great companies that have fallen by the wayside. The quality of vintage clothing far outweighs anything you might purchase today, and wasn't made in a sweatshop by child labor. I also am a firm believer in recycling, but I won't get on my soapbox. We must all learn to reuse, reduce, and recyle to save our planet for the future. If I won't wear it myself, I certainly won't sell it to you! That's a promise.
