ABOUT THE GSN CREATORS:
Alexis, the founder of Grab Something Naked Apparel, began the business solo back in Toronto in 2005. It began simply as way to respond to negative cultural clichés regarding women, sexual orientation, sexuality and race. She wanted to create alternative apparel that would celebrate our individuality and spark conversation regarding topics still considered 'taboo' in society. She also wanted to make apparel that would compliment all shapes and sizes.

When Alexis isn't creating new designs or lacing corsets, she's busy composing, singing and playing in her band Revive the Redheads (www.revivetheredheads.com).
Recently, Alexis' twin sister Jess has jumped on board! With an insane collection of vintage in her closet, and having always held women of the pre-Hays Code in high regard for their intelligence and untouchable sensuality, Jess was a perfect fit! She has not only helped shape the Grab Something Naked look in to what it is today, but has also used this line as her own outlet to reclaim sexuality, individuality and feminist thought.

When she isn't marketing or photographing for GSN, she is exercising her hands on the piano rehearsing songs for her band Revive the Redheads. Originally trained as a photojournalist, she spent many sunny days at CalArts in California fascinated by the surreal life that is Los Angeles and she even brought back a few eccentricities!

Alexis and Jess are currently rooted in Vancouver, British Columbia for the time being, and are ecstatic to be a part of the etsy community!
