Charlotte Grace Baskerville Jewellery
I live by the sea in Cornwall, England. I'm mostly found beachcombing (collecting seaglass), or tinkering away in my workshop on new commissions or collections for galleries. (Do feel free to pop over to my Facebook page to see photos and videos of me creating new designs: m.facebook.com/gracebaskervillejewellery)
When I was 3 years old I used to collect pebbles on the beach and through out my life pebbles, stones, gems and rocks always hold a special meaning for me.
Stones, gemstones and jewellery continue to be a life long passion (obsession) of mine and I've always had a fascination and interest in how things are made. I even did fashion at college for a while, but was always slinking off to the metal workshops to play with the metals. Looking back now, jewellery was always my path. I just didn't know it then.
My great-grandmother's name was 'Grace Baskerville' which I always thought sounded unusual and would be a great name to use for my jewellery collections.
I draw my inspiration from the rugged coastline, the wild flowers, woodland creatures and traditional Cornish heritage.
I've created handmade jewellery all my life and enjoy using Silver, gemstones, recycled glass, seaglass, rough stones and unique gems to make rings, bracelets, earrings, necklaces, bangles, and pendants.
I'd love to chat to you, so if you've got something in mind talk to me 😊. I often work with seaglass people have collected themselves or old sentimental jewellery which I transform into wearable personal pieces.
Looking forward to making something special for you x
