About

I have been a professional graphic designer for my entire life and as a child, drew on every surface I could find! (I was a master of nail polish masterpieces on the walls at six). Discovering the art possibilities on computers in the 80's was an amazing revelation!!! (still hasn't protected the walls in my house).

I have always had a love of fine quality papers. As an avid gardener and lover of flowers and sustainability I have struggled to find a balance between paper consumption in the printing world and the need to recycle. So, recently I have devoted a LOT of time to handmade papers and particularly flower seed embedded papers . . it's a gift that gives again!

Handmade papers, especially the plantable variety are fast becoming an obsession that has turned the nature of my printing business upside down! I now purchase as many recycled papers as possible, no longer send jobs out wrapped in layers of plastic and have made the switch to soy and vegetable based instead of petroleum inks.

Plantable greeting cards have provided me with an artistic outlet that knows no boundaries . . What is better than giving a bouquet in a card . . in an earth friendly recycled product? Nothing! in my estimation!!!

Plantable paper has an added bonus, all un-recycled scraps are planted around my gardens. I live in Eastern Oklahoma in the tail end of the Ozarks. My studio looks out onto timbered hardwood hills, expanses of grass and wonderful pockets of flower gardens created with scraps and OOPS cards (the ones the printer chooses to mangle once in a while) . . . there is no better life!!!!

Be good to yourself and the earth - go plant something!!!

Due to all the discord about "unsolicited convos" going around these days . . I want everyone to know they are free to convo me any ol' time you like . . (but, don't try to sell me anything . . I have no money left from shopping on ETSY!!)

I am also "trade friendly" and love to barter and bargain - don't be scared - just ask!!
