Grant Dupill's Profile

About

Welcome to my store! My name is Grant Dupill. I started collecting and creating cool things 4 years ago after being stationed in a fairly remote desert community and having few creative outlets available. To combat this boredom and loneliness I bought some basic hand tools and a small welder.

Fast forward to the present. My shop has greatly evolved and contains badass metalworking equipment and machinery from the 1700's to 2012 which I use on a daily basis. I hunt down interesting relics at the salvage yard, private homes (with permission of course, American Picker's style) and flea markets. I spend a lot of my free time in the 110 degree sun beating through brush, cactus, barb wire fencing, running like a sissy from rattlesnakes, spiders, and other creepy desert wildlife in the pursuit of rusty forgotten treasures. I have met an amazing group of people and local business owners…

I have met an amazing group of people and local business owners who have been supportive of my strange doings that I consider friends and I wouldn't have gotten this far without their kindness and wisdom (time to plug Del Rio Welders Equipment, Crown Recycling, and Moises Munoz from M&M Sales and service here! You guys rock!)

There is nothing more gratifying to me than finding the odd castaway treasure at the flea market, garage sale, or salvage yard and re-purposing, restoring, or passing it along as is. My pieces are fun, whimsical and have been known to bring smiles to peoples faces. Hopefully, they bring joy to yours as well!

I hope you like what you see and feel free to contact me with any questions you may have.
