Hi my name is Jill. I create unique one of a kind accessories for you and your home from recycled Full Top Grain Leather upholstery swatches and remnants. To me it's an art and I thoroughly enjoy creating each design. I absolutely LOVE leather. The soft feel, the wonderful smell, The comforting warmth. My day job is selling high end custom leather furniture and I have been doing it for nearly 20 years. I am now a leather expert and know all the pros and cons to every possible finish type of leather.

In 2006 I had made a couple leather tote bags out of some of the discontinued leather swatches from work. They came out awesome! ...and a few years later they were still sturdy and look more beautiful than they did when first made. Natural full grain leathers only get better with time. I had gotten a few requests over those years to make bags for others so decided to start a small business seeing what I could make in my free time with all the leather I had accumulated.

Currently I am making a lot of "patchwork designs". My company name says it all- GREEN COW accessorries. It's an eco friendly approach of "recycling" or reusing leather pieces that would normally be discarded. Every piece I make I put a lot of thought and careful planning into. I believe I have a good eye for combining colors and actually enjoy the challenging process of digging through hundreds of colors sometimes to find the right combo. Most of my purse designs have no visible side seams as I fall back on geometry principles to create a unique piece that looks good from every possible angle.

I took a 4 year "vacation' from Green Cow Accessories. In time I'vemoved cross country from San Diego to Metro Atlanta, got engaged, rescued 4 dogs, and bought a house. My love for leather hasn't changed. I finally have a huge sewing/ craft room and am ready to get back to my favorite hobby. Besides the pouches, purses and pillows I've made and will continue to make I am planning to incorporate accessories for dogs and specialty pouches for Diabetes supplies. Please check back periodically as Green Cow Accessories grows.
