Guillermo Cuellar's Profile

About

I have been making wheel-thrown stoneware pots since 1980. Born in Venezuela, I moved to Shafer, Minnesota in 2005 and am now part of the diverse and colorful community of potters in the Upper St. Croix River Valley.

I make pots for the home and kitchen. My production - soup bowls, storage jars, cups, plates, casseroles, baking dishes, sugar bowls, pitchers, teapots, vases, among other forms - is often inspired by my own cooking and gardening adventures and misadventures.

My goal is to make beautiful affordable handmade pots for people to use and enjoy primarily for preparing and sharing food. I hope they will become your friends and family over time.
