Welcome to my Etsy shop!

I have been making jewelry since May of 2008, and fell into this while just trying to support my father with his new-found hobby. After watching a tv show about mining, my father decided to take a trip to go mining for gems. He was so excited about all the beautiful stones he found, but quickly learned that this hobby could get quite expensive with paying to have all the stones cut and set into pieces of jewelry. So he decided to join a rock club and took a lapidary class where he learned to cut cabochons. Then this led to dad and I taking a wire wrapping class through his rock club. About

That's where my hobby started. Dad decided to stick to just making cabochons, and I quickly developed a love for wire wrapping.

I started out with just making jewelry as gifts for friends and family. Then after being complimented on my necklace one day while out in public, I was invited to participate in an art exhibit in October 2008. The rest is history... and I now sell my pieces at craft shows, home shows, and now Etsy.com.

Unfortunately, my father lost his battle with cancer in September of 2010. So to honor him through our mutual love for rocks and gemstones, and to help raise money for cancer research so others do not have to go through what he experienced, 10% of each sale total will be donated to the American Cancer Society.

Thank you for checking out my shop! Please let me know if you have any questions, or if there is something special you would like to see.
