I have an interest in things that are simple but adorned. Things that show strength but are also dainty, small and intricate. The way jewelry can be simple but also intricate is infinitely inspiring to me. The simplicity and elegance of a curved line, but the intricate nature and balance of creating it in metal: that is what entrances me and makes me work.

Growing Up:
I grew up in the country, exploring the valley behind the house, climbing logs, digging in native clay, skinning knees on unpaved roads. It felt like endless summer. I still draw inspiration from those times.

Growing Up:
I grew up in the country, exploring the valley behind the house, climbing logs, digging in native clay, skinning knees on unpaved roads. It felt like endless summer. I still draw inspiration from those times.
In the city, I flourished. Auburn, WA was where my first taste of metalworking was had at the age of 16 in my high school jewelry class, thereby changing my course from massage therapist to jeweler.
After high school, my plan for education came to fruition, though went through several metamorphoses, changing schools three times in six years.

Education:
In June 2012, I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts from Central Washington University, where I studied under Keith Lewis (metals) and Stephen Robison (ceramics), whose critical eyes have helped hone my workmanship and my eye for detail.

Technical Mumbojumbo:

I often use natural stones. They often differ from each other, ranging from slight gradation to extreme color changes. I will usually note how drastic the change can be on the listings. If you have a certain shade, deepness, quality, etc. in mind, please feel free to ask!

Again, I LOVE custom work. It's probably my favorite type of work. Just shoot me a convo and I can pretty much get anything... Within a certain range and depending on other factors. Which you can ask me about if you're curious. :P

A Note on Ring Care: I do not recommend working in the garden or making bread, for example, with one of these on; I would also not advise working construction with one of these little beauties on. They are made of metal, it does bend. If it bends, it'll bend back, however metal does have a breaking point. Yes, it will break if you bend it too much. No, there really is no telling when it will until it does. If your ring breaks and it's the absolutely most wonderful ring you've ever had and you can't go on without it, email or call me before you send it back to me, please! Thank you.

If your ring gets dirty: MOST of them will be able to be handwasahed with regular handsoap as often as you wash your hands. I usually work with one of my rings on and I am a barista, so I am washing my hands constantly. They will also keep their shine and luster if you wash them often!

If you would like gift wrap, please leave me a note in the "Notes to seller" box and I will gladly accomodate you, no extra charge!

If you require other shipping options, such at Express or Overnite, please convo me before purchasing. I will gladly reserve your item and adjust the shipping for you!

*****Attention Etsy Sellers!!!!******

Thank you! If you have any other questions, I will be happy to answer them!!
